Trundled up to Blashford Lakes today,,,, a bit disappointed by the absence of Lesser Redpoll, and Brambling. Might try again at the end of the month. The weather is not hard enough to bring these into our feeders yet. Apart from a few light frosts the winter hasn't really happened so far, being replaced by rainy squalls, downpours, and gales. I did get a few shots of Siskin tho'. All the others present appear in my garden every day.
