Yet another couple of hours pacing the banks of the Stour at Blandford looking for that elusive 'bank shot' of an Otter. There was just one individual playing ball today, and it had us toggers marching,,,, first upstream, then downstream. Sick to death of all those 'just a head' shots. This was the best I could do on the day.
The ever present Kingfishers looked great in the sun. I have never had a proper Kingfisher hide set-up, but this stretch of river at Stour Meadows, Blandford is the nearest i've been to them without cover.
